What a beautiful quilt. Butterflies are one of my favorites. You all did a beautiful job on it. I know you will enjoy having it in your room.

how absolutely beautiful. what is the pattern that you used. i would love to try this. it is just gorgeous. words can't express how much i love it.

Huntersgrammie, I didn't have a pattern for the butterflies -- the top is vintage. The quilting was done around the butterflies, at the multiple sashing seams, and diagonals at the corner of each block. Quilting was very simple, since all people working on it except Mom were novices.

I love the simple old fashioned quilts and the butterflies is one of my favorites. So nice that you will have all the memories of your family on this one.....It looks lovely on your bed.....just like it belongs there....and , I guess it does....

This is a beautiful quilt and the border is wonderful. I think I will use this idea on my big brown quilt which is ready for borders and I didn't want to use a solid brown border. Those little nine patch corner stones will really help making my border fit. Thanks so much for sharing.
