Yes, I did an overall meandering on it. I made sure to cross each hex piece at least once and sometimes twice to make sure this quilt holds together since it was all hand pieced. And I agree about quilting old tops - they are certainly a challenge! I've quilted some of the wonkiest quilts you would not believe!! :D

That's so hard to fix something like that and if your coworker isn't delighted, we'll turn her over to the Quilt Police!! That is a lovely, lovely quilt!!
