Default Want to go on a walk with me?

Son chose his fabrics, they've been prewashed and dried, all pieces cut, and here we go with the Labyrinth Walk quilt pattern I bought at Bear Creek. First thing I learned is to read through the directions - before starting. By the time I took this first photo I had already ripped out 5 seams - oh well, ripping seams is fun, right? While ironing what you see in the photo my hubs called me for dinner. As I moved away from the ironing board (where I didn't really notice the 3D effect, being so close to it) I literally ran into the door jam of my sewing room when I looked back to check the iron was off and saw this weird thing on my board! It's really strange standing more than a few feet from it - you can't make it lie flat for all the tea in China. This is going to be fun, and you can come along - I plan to post photos as I go.

You definitely chose well for the fabrics as you have a great 3-D effect going there!
Well Done!

Looking forward to joining you on your Walk ....

I hope that you will keep posting your photos on this thread, rather than elsewhere,
so that I (and others) can follow along and not miss a step of the journey!! Thanks

There's a hole in your ironing board! Great 3D effect!

The 3D effect is amazing. I want to travel this journey with you. I hope you can tolerate us looking over your shoulder until you finish. This quilt is on my todo list, but I haven't even pulled my fabric together yet. I love your fabric. Your son has excellent taste. Has he seen this first block? I can't wait to see what his reaction is to the actual block.
