Thank you for sharing! I have two sets of hand embroideried blocks my mom did 25+ years ago. Your finished top is beautiful.

oh my I made one of these quilts the first winter I was married in 1973. Hand embroidered flowers -state quilt. I did embroidered the state names inside the ribbons on the bottom of each block. I did mine in a blue border and and backing. I have never seen another one finished from that pattern. Thanks for sharing. JJane

that is gorgeous. Two of the baby quilts I made for the first great grans had embroidered blocks with sashing and the parents loved them. This quilt will surely be treasured for a life time.
