Have your hubby build rafters in the ceiling lol.... more room to store. Love it. Glad you found a way to save. :)

Good Idea! I don't have that many scraps yet, but have one entire closet filled with winter blankets and extra pillows...I'm going to try that idea. Thanks for the reminder.

Cool idea. Will have to give that try. The scraps of batting seem to accumulate really fast. I usually piece them together and use them on lap throws or totes or other small projects but I currently have several bags that would be nice to have all in one. Thanks for sharing your wonderful idea.

There are some bags that you can roll the air out of that are made for travelers that work great. The ones I use for out of season blankets and sleeping bags, etc are original space bags. Do not order on line because the S& H is terrible. You can find them in a lot of stores and some drug stores and they work great.

Hope it works for you. All the space bags I have used always leaked after a short time.

I used to store my prepackaged bags of polyester quilt batts in the pillow shams that sit on all the beds around the house. I would even pack pillow cases full of scrap batting and shove them into the pillow shams, or throw cushions on the couch. lol
