Default "The Weaver" just a top so far

I finally have something to show again. Everything else in my life has had to do with house renovation and furniture refinish - not exactly quilty fun.

This pattern always intrigued me and I saw a block done on the German forum. So I used a jelly roll and some of my own fabric and voila. One thing I must say: No drinking while weaving. lol

Once I was already well into the sewing, I realized that the jelly roll was not cut very nice, so it was hard to keep the lines exact. Oh well, I'm still happy with it.

Very nice. I like that pattern. I think I will try a square. I am just learning and have been making sample squares. This give me another good one to try. Is it hard to do?

I just went online looking for this pattern and didn't get results. Could you tell me where you got yours?
