Wow what a shame. The quilt was a beauty and it should have come with a great big thank you.

If a friend of mine or co-worker sends a gift for one of kids or grandkids, when I give it to my kids I also hand them a thak you card to write so that I can take it with me. They all know that mom has a box of thank you cards just for those occasions.

That is really pretty, lots of time in it.
When we had bridal shower for nephew and his bride to be, I got a thank you with in the week. It's been two months and she will be soon back to school teaching. I just thought they would take care of notes before then.
When DH and I were married I got personalized thank-you cards out within a week. But I'm still waiting for a thank-you from my niece for the wedding gifts I gave her. It's been over 8 years now ...I guess I need to step away from the mailbox...

Beautiful quilt!! I know when I was first married it was a busy time and my notes were late.....maybe she was too embarrassed to send them late? Do not
let this hurt cause a rift in your family.....God will bless you if you are the bigger
person and forgive!!!

It is a shame that young people today do not realize a simple thank you would show they appreciate the gift. I think it is lovely. Love the way you document your quilts.

Oh my, it's gorgeous! Seems a lot of young people are long on acquisitiveness, but short on appreciativeness. I'd have been very happy if someone had given me a quilt like that, and they'd have known it, too!

my children HAD to send thank U's because their Granny was on the phone 3 days after she sent something wanting to know if they had gotten them yet so they learned real quick.

It is a beautiful quilt. Kids these days can be so rude sometimes. I have a niece who is like that. I made a quilt for her first baby and she didn't even acknowledge that she received it much less thank me. She is having another baby and had the nerve to ask if I was making her another quilt???!!!. I just told her that it was alot of work and I just didn't have the time right now.

I made a baby quilt for my neice and never got a thank you, but often when she posts pics of the baby the quilt is in it. That's all I need, to know it is being loved.
