Both quilts are nice. I used to live on walmart fabrics back in the day and they have outlasted some of my newer ones. GOod job ,.

Very nice quilts, keep it as a souvenir and a family history for your grandsons, maybe the appreciated as there father

Has he given up the old one yet?
The new one will be going off to college with him someday...what a treasure for him to love.

I would much rather see it worn & used to death than made & given & not used. I still have oldest DS's wedding quilt here because "she doesn't like blue". If they don't use them I don't see any sense in making them!

He's already done trade school & this old tattered one is beside his couch for when he watches TV. So it's STILL being used :o}

Paniac which pattern would you like to have? The star block or the Dutchmen's puzzle? I would be glad to send you it. It's not out of a book or anything, I just put blocks together. Let me know & I will gladly send it to you.
