I have had these blocks for this top done for quite sometime. I took a class from Debbie Caffrey about 5 years ago for this quilt. I just got the quilt top all sewn together and now not sure which border to use. I think I like the snowflake fabric best. May have enough of the light colored snowflake block fabric to make a narrow inner border then about a 5 or 6 inch outer border.
The name of the quilt is The Journey Home. I think that is the name of it. I am going to call it Journey Home from Forks. I took the class on my birthday in Forks, WA.

2nd choice of border

A busy border fabric...not my choice

I like the first one, with the snowflakes. I think a narrow inner border in a lighter shade would look great with it.

I like the first one, maybe with a thin one inch white border next to the main quilt.
