    I would do a border in the background color and finish with a wide border of the purple print. Another row of the blocks first would make it bigger. Then I would continue with the above borders. A lot depends on the finished size you want it to be.

    Thanks all for your comments. I hadn't thought of using a cream? I don't have any more of the floral blocks they were bought as a precut kit for a block. I decided to put them on point and added the green. I'll mull it over and see what I have in the stash

    I love it. I would place a narrow (?) 2 1/2" wide strip of the green, then a 1 1/2" strip of the purple print and a wider one of the green after. You can use corner stones of a solid purple in the borders. Ir is beautiful.

    I think it is very pretty and your sister is going to love it. Personally I like multiple borders on most quilts so keep up the good work and post a photo when finished, I'm betting it will be lovely.

    I like 2 boarders, one narrow and the outer one wider. This is sure pretty.
