I went to town to get a haircut, and decided to take a look at two Goodwill stores in the area. It was Tuesday, which is senior day, so I got a discount on my treasures! I bought 5 pieces of fabric for 14.85. The black was a 10 yd bolt. The tennis fabric is RJR and is 5 1/2 yds (DGD plays tennis for Montana State in Billings). The dk blue was 1 yd. The light blue was 66 inches, The tan print was in 2 pieces, each 1 ft by wof. The lace is a large odd-shaped piece, but enough for 2 curtains for my new quilting shed.

Here are pictures of the fabric:

I also found a 4' X 6' rug in excellent shape for $10 that will go in the shed. I saw one the same size in Big Lots for $65!

All in all, I had a good day!

We were up there the first of April and got to see her play in the "bubble". Guess I'll have to get a "tennis" quilt going!

soooo jealous! There is never fabric at my Goodwill store because they put it on their auction site in lots. Dang it!

Congratulations on your great buys. I need more fabric like I need another hole in my head but I can't pass up bargains. We don't have a Good Will store anymore and Salvation Army doesn't carry fabric or patterns since they remodeled. I need to check out some of the other thrift stores. Yarn is my other weakness. Thank God, I have a really sweet DH who never complains.
