Absolutely beautiful colors. I am really learning to appreciate the scrappy quilts so much. What size strips are you using?

this is one of my favorite patterns. i foundation piece and keep a large hamper to hold all my strip scraps, even the selvedge trimmings. then when i get bored i pull the hamper out. i totally love the randomness of the whole thing and never try to be matchy about it but usually make the final border black, sometimes putting a narrow inner border. the black border and binding seem to calm the eye and they don't stay around long after completed. yours is looking great. if you think you like it a lot now, wait til it is finished....you will love it. i do.
