Just beautiful! I do cross-stitch, too, so I have appreciation for the time and effort that goes into it. I just love your pieces!!

They are truly beautiful.
oh my! What beautiful work! mouth open, jaw on floor!
It's surprising you have any eyesight left! Beautiful!
Your pictures are beautiful. You do excellent work.
Oh my, after my own heart, I love counted cross-stitch too. My hands have started bothering me just this year, but I finished one Christmas stocking and started on one for my greatgrandson, 10 months old, but hate to disappoint him, but it's on 18 count and it is eating my lunch. Just won't have it ready this year. Your work is simply beautiful. Sorry to hear about your fingers too. I have to use the glove on my right hand, got it at Hancocks. it helps a lot, plus 2 rapid release tylenol every morning. My mothers hands got bad from quilting so many years, but she was 93 when she died. I'm only 68, and I think this stuff has started way too early. But I keep plodding along.
WOW!! Those pictures are gorgeous. I used to have a few of those patterns, gave it all up when I started to quilt.
These are wonderful, could never figure out how to do it.
Beautiful Crossstitch!! I also love doing crossstitch as well as quilting.
Your cross stitch is gorgeous! You mentioned you can't do it anymore due to possible arthritis. I actually have had surgery on both of my thumbs for arthritis. I'll never get arthritis on my thumbs again. If I had to do it all over again I would go for the surgery. The difference was amazing for me. Now if they could find a way to remove all the other little bones in my body that rub together were old art resides I would be so happy. :)
I used to do cross stitch (a lot) before I got the Quilting bug too. Must be progression. I loved to do Mirabilia Queens or any ladies, love the colours and using beads to embellish the cross stitches. I don't have any pictures to show, as I sold a lot of them.
Do you think you will combine cross stitch with quilting?.A friend of mine does include some blocks that have a cross stitch design on them in fine aida. They are turn out lovely.
Have a good day.
Beautiful. I also did cross stitching before quilting!
absolutely beautiful..and a treasure.
I admire your work. I tried cross stitching but did not have the patience. Your work is beautiful. :-D
absolutely beautiful! I commend your patience.
AWESOME is the only word to describe your work.
WOW, I am speechless.
