There's no handwork! :-)
Well... apart from attaching the handle, and that's just backstitching through the holes in the metal frame. I used a forest green embroidery thread.
The kit is still available, but I bought it from a shop that I've since found out regularly rips off New Zealand Quilt Designers. They have been found guilty in court twice of taking people's designs and putting their own name on it, and there is a lot of anecdotal evidence suggesting they're still doing it.

that is just gorgeous, BC. I love the butterflies, it gives a whimsy that could otherwise be a formal and stuffy bag.
Great hardware too.... going to have to look for some for my daugher who loves purses.
