Thanks for all the kind comments. The tree one was actually quite easy, I've included the pattern in comment number 6 ,I think!!!!

Can anyone help me here? I downloaded this pattern but all I got is a picture w/o directions. This is the 2nd "free" pattern downloaded in as many days, same result both times.
