I basically used the bow tuck pattern but changed alot of it. I didn't do the bows on the sides, the button or loop, and I changed the size. The girl I picked is in love with dogs. I didn't have any dog fabric, but luckily found someone on the board who was selling some. I was so happy how it turned out.
I long arm quilted my fabric then cut out what I needed for the bag, so I had a little bit of left over fabric that was already quilted. I turned that into two little mug rugs for her. I'm going to try to find a mug to go with it tomorrow. I'm sure she will like it. So happy it's done. :)

That is SOO nice! After today I am sold on the idea of these kinds of purses. I changed purses today and carried a large one, but could not find a darn thing each time I rummaged through it. Off it goes to GoodWill tomorrow with a bunch of other stuff I don't need or like.
I love the idea of all those pockets so things can be found. Even might put a zipper on one so it can be secure enough for a wallet.

A zipper would be great in one. I haven't tried that yet.

Thanks, I really hope she does. I'm just glad I found the fabric with bones on it. I pulled her name and within a couple of days I found the fabric on the board and bought it. So glad I got it.
