Forgot to say thereis special paper that the wax is thicker and doesn`t gum it your printer.
She already had our patterns printed but I`ve ordered some.
Will get it at our next guid meeting so will let you know the brand.
I think it was about 10 canadian for I think 30 sheets.Any pattern can be adapted.Your suppose to be able to use your pattern pices over and over but my first one I couldn`t as I sewd a little on the paper.

I love this crane. My son loves to fold the paper ones. I'll have to figure this one out so I can make him a special quilt. Thank you for sharing.

The teacher said the freezer paper ypu buy in the grocery store will eventualy gum up your printer. The ones from the qyuilt store won`t.
Teacher saw a quilt made with 80 birds. She got to 30 and sais enough on to other things and it is now a wall hanging which I din`t see as shr din`t feel like taking it down. Maybe will show it at a guild meeting or our show in the spring.
Need to remember camera for our guild meet.

If gumming up the printer is an issue, you could iron a 1/4" section on the top of the freezer paper to a piece of copy paper and run them through your printer together :wink:
