I have a scrap bin under my quilt table. When it gets full it becomes a dog or cat bed. I also keep all the bigger scraps from my projects in storage containers (shoe box size) and I'll sort them out when they start taking over my quilt closet. It is so hard for me to throw anything away, but I must say its becoming harder to keep all those fabric pieces!! lol Now where are those chocolate truffle balls?

Let me solve your problem. Send them my way! I organize my fabric every two months or so. It comes out perfect. Then I grab this and that and the left overs never end up in the same color/texture piles nope they end up where I stuff them til the next time I sort again. I don't envy you. I would however put them next to the couch and use your coffee table while you watch tv. Its nice to do two things at once. I appliqued last night while watching cooking shows, button box on the table, sewing box on the end table, thread on the arm of the couch, cats in the middle trying to help.. it worked marvelously lol. I always sort from the couch however. Much more comfortable then bending over to do it all or standing for long periods of time which is impossible. Find yourself with too much PM me for your address. Glad to help you out!

You are not alone! I to love to touch the fabrics and sometimes it is just meant to be to bring everything out and actually visualize all that you have! Blessings to you

I would not do anything with it unless you need them for a project. Have some wine, chocolate, play with the scraps and back in the bag they go. LOL
