no luck with the backing..i went to 2 Joanns today. they had it in pink, but it had to much lime green in it.

i will measrue what i have, and see if i can at least use it for sashing..and use muslin on the back. oh well..it was a nice thought!

You can also use another fabric or muslin along with it and create a simple design on the back. Depending on how much of the fabric you actually have you could have say an all muslin area with a border of your fabric or the other way around; mostly your fabric with a muslin border. hope I'm not being a pest.

This is beautiful; I love the colors, bright yet soft.

LOL! NO your not being a pest..but i think it would look great with the fabric as sashing, since i used white around the edges of the blocks, i have to come up with a color for the sashing.
i do have a medium tone solid purple in my stash.i could audition that for the front..and see what will look better.
i will take pictures and post them to see what everyone thinks!

Did you check with JoAnns on-line?? It's easier than driving to different stores.
If you can't find it, maybe you can make a medallion back with a very large
heart block in the center, a few borders and then a very wide border of your
backing fabric....
Also if you know the name or manufacturer of your fabric, the Fabric Search function on the FAB Shop Hop site is an excellent resource.
Good luck - Judy

these are the numbers:

Keepsake Calico Fabric-Allover Flowers Pink
# 1605849

Have no idea of the numbers for the "allover flowers purple"

i will do a search on line..see what i can come up with.
