    What an unique quilt. I love the blocks being used as the side of the house. Wonderful. Thanks for giving us the story behind the quilt. This will be a treasured family quilt.

    Oh, it's lovely. I, too,like the blocks 'built' into the houses. She did a lovely job with those blocks. It's great that she can still handquilt and enjoy that. And it's so kind that you are putting things together for her to quilt. My MinL has dementia too and can't do the handwork she used to enjoy. Makes me so sad.

    What a lovely quilt and how wonderful that your mom with dementia can do hand quilting.

    My Dad has dementia too and I'm racking my brain to figure out some tasks he can do. It would be so satisfying for him to actually accomplish something.

    The quilt is wonderful. I'm sorry about your Mom but she will get pleasure quilting it and you will have good memories
