I would leave it as is, finish it and if she is still living, present the finished quilt to her. Sandy 64

I would leave them alone too. That just adds to the "charm" of them.

this sure is pretty! id' leave it just like it is and quilt it. i have a quilt that was made by leslie's great grandmother, a diamond design, that i think needs sides on it. seems to me to be sooooo long and not very wide! probably for a twin bed but i want to add to it. ill start a thread when im done with my room and show you all so you can see what i mean. anyways, talk about side tracked! this is pretty just like it is!

That wouldn't bother me at all. I would leave them as-is and cherish the quilt.

Is it machine pieced or hand pieced? If it is machine pieced I would measure the 2 blocks you are thinking of moving. Are they exactly the same size? If they are exact and they are driving you crazy, then they should be fairly easy to pick out the stitching around the blocks and carefully pin and stitch them back in. If they aren't driving you crazy, I would leave them because it is pretty the way it is. If they are hand sewn, I would leave them the way they are.

I would leave them. I left mine! did some by mistake! but really, it was her quilt so just finish it and know it's how she would have done it if she could have.

Leave the blocks where they are, it is part of the quilts charm. It will bring her and her story to mind each time you look at the quilt.

Leave them, call it " Nobodys perfect". You won't see it unless you are really studying the pattern. Make sure you put her name on the back and the approximate date

If you change it, it won't be the same one SHE made.
