Stumbled across this fabric at favoritefabric.com (while looking for something else, of course). It's so yummy. But I'm not sure what I'd *do* with it. What would YOU do with it?

Well, the fabric doesn't do anything for me, so I'd probably leave it in the store! Having said that, I've seen some of our friends on the board make quilts of beauty using fabrics I don't like. It's all in what you do with it!

I'd use it as a border on a quilt and find co-ordinating fabrics for the blocks. I think it is pretty.

I would also use it for a border and find a pattern that uses batiks.

A Dresden plate with batiks. I have seen just the fabrics from Hoffmans that would make a wow quilt.

I love it! I want it! It would make wonderful paper pieced blocks with some other colors, maybe solid hand painted fabrics. I have to look for it on fabric.com. I like that site. What is it called?

I agree, I would take that piece and match it with several more pieces of batiks and make a bargello.. oh the colors in there that would be beautiful.. not sure how much you have but if there is enough i would also add it to the border...

I'd just buy a few yards of it and put it in my stash to look at fondly thinking one day I'll find the perfect use for it.

there's a quilt named jiggle and jump, that is made from plaids and coordinating solids.

I think your fabric would look great in the pattern.

(posting so I have something to come back to in *my pages*-I will look it up.)
