Another good pattern and really quick is a pattern "Just can't cut it" by All Washed up. Tried to insert picture 1st time trying to do this hope it worked.

I would make a rag quilt out of it. I'd use the two fabrics for the front and back and use osnaburg in the center. Osnaberg a burlap-like fabric which frays great for rag quilts and doesn't add too much weight.
