Instead of OBW what about 4PP?

Other possibilities would be D9P or D4P.

that is very pretty fabric, I would use it for strips to show it off. You could incorporate it into a log cabin

I would love to see a grandmothers fan, rotating the flowered strip with coordinating colors, then use the flower material for sashing! I think that is only because I really want to do a fan quilt but have way to many ongoing projects. That material is beautiful, having a little girl I am always partial to pink :-)

OK. Here are the rails...will go join them together now. Some of you know that I'm in Poland and basically work with what I have--don't run to the store (because they won't have anything anyway except a few solids...). I ran out of the dark pink/burgundy here, so I am making the quilt that size. It won't be huge, but I'll add borders, and use up some of the floral strips there..

I had to comment, that the roll of fabric doesn't necessarily "play well" with other fabrics. Plus, it wasn't an even 2 1/4". I found that out after I sewed it up. Sometimes it is 2.5". Which means, that I had to go back and trim up all the squares. I've sewn most of the strips together and hope to get the top together tomorrow--at least the rail part (it's 9:19 pm here)

I really like this idea :D:D:D
