I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what you have gone through. Thank you to your family, and your grandson for his service to our country. What a fitting tribute given by the high school class.

Sending you my deepest sympathy, too. I imagine the hurt will always be there. I am truly grateful for your grandson's ultimate sacrifice for his country. That is why I always try to help out on the Quilts of Valor and the 'one star' one that is going around now. Sending hugs!

mine is a wallhangng that MDD designed. It is one of my favorites. It is a needleturn applique. Loved doing it! :) :)

Mine is a patch I made for a group of quilters I got together every Monday at a local church gathering hall to sew from 9:30 AM till 7:30 PM. Some stay all day, some onl.y a few hours some in the AM and some in the PM after work. We are in our 6th year.

My avatar is a Family History quilt in honor of my mother!! I shows her parents and her siblings! It was such an honor making it and I continoulsy prayed while making it. It gives me great joy looking at it!!
