    Glennis, it's beautiful! Your Aunt would be very happy that you were able to turn her stars into a stunning quilt. Those y seams had to be a killer. I've done a few. Not wanting to do them any time soon.

    That is a beautiful family heirloom.

    Oh my gosh! What a beautiful quilt and a great story to boot. You have done an incredible job on it. Not sure I could part with it after all the work that has gone into it. You have a very generous heart :-)

    I never in a million years would have thought to change up the backgrounds to give those blocks that updated version that you have made. Huh, this is a lesson for me to remember. Thanks so much. Blend the new with the old. :roll: I like that.
