I bought a half yard of each floral-large, medium and small scale. And a FQ of each of the dots in the line. I also have a stripe that will be the binding-yes, definitely cutting the stripe on the bias!
It took the longest time to find something that I could use those prints and dots on, and I LOVE the way this turned out! This is another one by Modern Quilt Relish, called Brioche & Baguette. I changed the layout and size a little to use all of my fabric. I just have some little scraps to put into the back-love it when it works like that!
So there's the 3rd UFO finished this summer. They're hanging in my closet-tops with the pieced backs and prepared binding. I'm on a quilting strike until December when I get my long arm. I want plenty of practice tops!

No border, just the bias cut striped binding to finish it off

Yes, the solid is black kona. The rest of the fabric is "Ellie's Emporium by sue Penn for Fine Lines" But I've had it for a year waiting for the right pattern, so probably not still available.

I just LOVE your quilt!!! I like that it doesnt' have a border. I have done that a few times and like how it turns out. Just make sure to stay stitch around the quilt before you put it on the frame. It helps so much. :)
