It is a pretty cool pattern. I will be done with all 8 today, they're all sewn into 3 rows and pressed ready to sew together. I STILL have 3 flowers left to do on the center block, 3 applique stars on the corner blocks, and I forgot that I have a bunch of little berries to do!!

The rest of the quilt top is sewn together into 4 sections of 6 blocks just waiting for these to be done.

I do see what you are saying about the upper right. I would re check the size of my pieces. The colors are great and the pattern is great. I am sure you will be able to figure out the corner. Just step back for a few minutes and look at it again. I'm sure it'll come together. I have had to do that a lot. It is not easy to find your own mistakes. I have always said there should be at least two sets of eyes looking. That comes from working in accounting most of my life. When I couldn't find error, would ask someone else to look at those numbers.

Pam - that is a beautiful block and I wouldn't have noticed the mismatch if you hadn't circled it! We are our own worst critics!

woweee, Pam, one step at a time, and it will get done. I have confidence in you. You take on so much and come out shining, every time! Can't wait to see it finished, but I will, bc it's always worth it.

The block looks soooo difficult. I didn't notice the mistake either--too busy looking at the block. I really look forward to seeing the finished quilt, I just know it's going to be absolutely fantastic.

Omak is right El Burns has simplified and perfected HST and quarter sqares with her methods.
Be sure and get her Triangle Square up Ruler. It has all the sizes listed so you can finish your quilt with it. With a Joanns coupon it is cheap.
It is the most useful tool I have and use it all the time.
Mainly your blocks will come out perfect, promise.
