I Chenilled the manes really thick keeping the stripes in order, then the tails I left a good amount of fabric dangling loose for some movement.
I would show you my original fabric, but I recently bought a longarm with 3 days notice used, and had to clear out a room, so needless to say I still have a bit of organizing to do to get to my fabrics! I am certainly not complaining lol!!! (it was used from a guild member)

Truly a wonderful work of art and very worthy of a prize. I am blown away by the fact that this was only the 8th quilt you've ever made? WOW Based on that alone, I believe you have many prize-winning quilts in your future. Enjoy your quilting journey and please post more "eye candy".

Hoffmann Challenge usually comes our way in July. I always enjoy seeing the quilts, and will look for yours. I love it.
