Your quilts are beautiful. Thanks for the link to that pattern, i love it.
We all have colors we don't like. For me it is aqua.

Those are beautiful quilts although not a color I would pick. I would think that if someone says they "hate" brown quilts I would say that "earthtone" quilts or whatever aren't their "colors". I have a large stash but not a lot of it is "earthtones".

Here is a photo of what I did with brown. I added some other colors too, like red, yellow, green.

All of the quilts posted here are stunning. It certainly makes a difference what a color is paired with! I do like to work out of my comfort space and find I'm usually pleasantly surprised.

Your quilts are very pretty! Though I like a deep dark brown, and golds too, but the rusts and burnt oranges are ones I don't care for.

Nice quilts! I like brown, but I don't seem to use it as much now because lately I prefer bright colors.

I guess what I'm saying is that everyone has a color they aren't crazy about... with me it's pink... but you don't really see people talking negatively about those colors so much. But brown gets bashed a LOT. I was thinking maybe it's because back in the 70's and 80's everyone got sick of those colors and now they're considered "old fashioned" or something. (Tell me you don't remember those god-awful harvest gold appliances and brown shag carpets! LOL!) But, as they say, everything old is new again... and with the new fabrics and new patterns I think brown is making a come back!
