Beautiful quilt, it took me a while to see what was wrong(?). On a bed or even hanging on the wall most people would have no idea.

I would never have seen it and would have thought you did it intentional - besides it makes it "your" quilt and there's no such thing as quilt piece. You did an awesome job so sit back and enjoy

Having been a typesetter for 20 years, I can tell you the errors only show up in the finished product--never in the proof reading.

No one will ever know...we are the only ones that see our errors, everyone will believe that it is the pattern. Beautiful job! Congrats!

I looked a long time before I saw it, but if you hadn't told me, I would never have seen it.

Its gorgeous and had you not mentioned it I would not have seen it, the Amish, so I'm told, believe there is only one perfect being, God.

Had to look/hunt before seeing what you call a mistake. Who is to say (besides you) that it isn't supposed to be that way. Great quilt.

That's why you didn't see it, you looked at it so much and knew what it should look like. I think it looks good, if you hadn't mentioned the mistake, probably wouldn't have noticed it.

The mistakes are only so visible to you! Trust me. I know. I see every mistake I made AFTER it's too late to fix it. Enjoy your quilt. It is lovely!

I have had this happen too (many times).

I try to remember that the Amish always purposely put an error somewhere in the quilt to show humility and that the only perfect thing is God.

Your piece is so lovely and of course it's supposed to be that way (!!!)

I actually had to go back and look several times before I saw, a perfect place for a bow. I would have never ever had seen this if you had not mentioned it. Just make a fabric bow, put it right there and even you won't know there is a slight boo boo.

By the way. it is georgous. I love paper piece.

Your quilt is beautiful, I had the same thing happen to me except that I had just finished piecing the top and it was a baby size quilt and I asked my husband if everything looked right and he said, do you want the truth and I said yes, and he pointed out that the squares surrounding the center, one had the points going in the wrong direction! Glad I asked him before I quilted it!!! Yours is hardly noticiable unless you say something. So......don't.
