I paper pieced this, I quilted it, I made the corners to hang it on a dowel and I really liked it. Then when my sister came to visit I got it out to show her and BAM ,my error was like a neon light. Well, it's pretty enough the way it is and I'll try to act like it is suppose to be that way. Grrrr

Thanks for the kind words, it just amazes me that I could look at it so much and not see it.

I have to agree, if you hadn't said anything I would never have noticed! Took me a while to find it.

It is beautiful just the way it is.

I always pin my blocks on the wall in my dining room and then take a picture import the picture to my computer and look it over before I start sewing together and then I do it again and again until the quilt is all put together then before I start quilting I take yet another picutre and look at it on the computer. lol for some reason seeing it hanging and on the computer the mistakes just JUMP out at me!

Don't worry, rarely will anyone else notice it. If they do tell them you always need to make an error for good luck.

Boy it took me a long time to find it. It is beautiful. Try taking a photo before you quilt. For some reason on a photo the error shows up more readily than on the quilt when we look at it. If you hadn't told me there was an error and I hadn't look hard for it, comparing things, I would have never known

I looked for a long time before I saw it. It is only obvious to you.

Love your quilt and the 'Deliberate' design change makes it very unique. Thanks for sharing.

Its beautiful. It took me a while to see what you were talking about, and I don't know if I'd even noticed it if I wasn't trying to find what you were talking about. I'm convinced we pay way more attention to our own mistakes than anyone else ever will :) Good thing theres no "quilting police" to judge all of my mistakes. I'd be in BIG TROUBLE!!! LOL

Good idea. I do hang it on my wall and look at for a few days and sometimes after it is sewn I'll hold it up to a mirror and look at it. But taking a picture is another way to spot a boo boo. Thanks for tip.

I looked a long time and maybe I see it? I think it is beautiful the way it is. Your interpretation of the pattern.

I saw the mistake but ONLY because I was looking for it. It's a beautiful quilt!
