I looked into the Downey Quilt site and saw the patterns you can use. Since I have a p.o.box I can not send for a kit, but will make a couple from a pattern they have and send them in. I however love Halloween and Christmas as well so I have emailed them to see if this theme is also acceptable for quilts as well. In the meantime a do have a few appropriate child themed prints to start with. You on the board really inspire me with your deeds for charity!

Your quilts are great. I was planning on making one with leftover horse fabric. It won't be as wild in color, but some child might love horses.

Great quilts. My library has selected Quilts for Kids as their charity this summer. Our BOTM will make quilts for this organization which is, as you know, sponsored by Downey. I will let them know there are kits available. As of now they are using their own fabric following 3 different easy patterns I drafted.

I saw the promotion on Rachel Ray and thought this is the one for this year.
