That's a shame the pattern is so poorly written. You did a great job on what you've made, however. It's so disappointing to be all excited to make something then something like that happens.

Well, you're doing a fabulous job. The swirls are beautifully done. I just finished a quilt top with poorly written directions. The triangular pieces needed to be off set a weird way to make them work, but they only showed how the units looked when they were done. I had to keep ripping them out and redoing them.

Very pretty piece! Great purples. Bummer about all your frustrations with the pattern. Hope you find/create a better pattern, and sew away!
