Im so excited. I went to the Post office today and the thrift store is right next door so we peaked in. I found an awesome ironing board for 99 cents!!! I had a cheepo that wobbled everytime I used it but this one is nice and sturdy. It was dusty and full of who knows what but i took it home and hosed it off and look almost good as new! I sprayed out a spider who was living there I guess but now it's mine so she has to find a new home LOL. YAY! Now I don't have to worry that my board is going to get knocked over and the kids get hit with the heavy, hot iron!

I have a very old one that stands like that and weighs a ton......No wood just metal......Wouldn't give it up for the world. I think a man or woman (who has never ironed) designed the ones now......

I can't count how many people want my old ironing board. Got it 44 years ago with green stamps.
