    WIP-FMQ Mule Portrait

We had a "snow day" today so I got to stay home and play! I spent the day stitching on a portrait of "Ben", a friend's mule. He still needs eyelashes, and I think I'll use the bright green thread to add some vibrant background quilting so that he stands out from the brown background, but here he is so far. The portrait is done totally in Isacord poly embroidery thread on a single piece of fabric.

And here's the pic I've been working from. I think it looks at least sort of like him...

Amazing!! I like this even better than Eddie the Mule. What is it with people and their mules in your area? Or did word get out? LOL I can see it. Eddie's proud owner showing off your thread portrait to his friends who also have mules they love. Obviously Ben's owner is just as proud of Ben as Eddies owner is of Eddie so you get another thread portrain commission. The cycle begins. Who'da thunk such a niche existed! Fabulous work Wendy. I think once you put the green on it will just pop!

I can't believe it!! This is incredible. How beautiful, what an amazing talent!! I've never seen anything like this before. Well done. If you put it in any competitions, you'll wipe the floor with the opposition!! You should be proud.
