Ok, this is the stack and whack that I have started that my daughter says is the worlds ugliest fabric. I have more than four blocks made, but am showing pics of only four. Haven't decided whether to set it together with black...or another color. Not sure what would make it lose it's 'ugly' moniker....

I don't think it's ugly. May be some red would go nice with it, or green.

I like the blocks better than the fabric before it was cut.

I take my blocks with me to the store and I audition all of the fabrics I can think of.

I love it! I'd go with either an orange, yellow (really bright to offset the black) or lime.

Definitely not ugly now. I love the blocks that came from the fabric. I would use a nice green or lime green with it. A dark or burnt orange would be nice too. Just depends on the look or feel you are going for.

Be sure to post pics when you get the other fabric added. I can't wait to see it.

The ugly is already gone!! The blocks are great! I would try a light lime green or a yellow to offset the dark of the black background. Good luck !!

Call it a beauty "makeover". The blocks sure do look great, and I would have to go with the lime green, too. Keep us posted with your progress. Looks like your "ugly duckling" is going to become a swan.

Ugly is in the eye of the beholder and this fabric makes beautiful OBW - to my eyes.
