lol- you found the cheater blocks, I did all the strings and was two blocks short for my setting so I cut the closest fabrics in hand and made two quickie blocks- didn't 'hide' them very well

This grand daughter has been 'designing' tops since she was 2 (probably longer then that) She would bring me piles of fabrics she liked and we would make kids quilts from them. Sometime I will have to 'show off' some of her work.
