    I think red also, the white seems to stark and the brown seems to make the border blend in instead of pop.

    I love brown fabrics, and like the border too. But I do think the white makes the quilt look 'fresh' , so... difficult choice ;-)

    yes brown I think the quilt is really nice but brown looks better to me but im just a newbie

    I am in the opinion that a little red in any quilt is a good thing. :D Whatever you choose I am sure it will be a hit. :D

    It depends on what sort of effect you want. The brown will dull the whole quilt and make it warmer while the ivory will lighten it. I don't think it will detract much from the overall quilt but it will certainly lift it. If it is the muted look you want, then darker colours, including some reds, will suit and if it is a brighter look then the ivory will suit it better. If you want a lift but not too much then a beige/ light tan will do that but your beige looking blocks will blend into the border. I personally like the ivory. Best of luck with your choice! :D
