Always good to have a long term pattern on the go. Do some and when you get bored, put it away for a bit.

That is a great pattern. Once you get the hang of Paper Piecing, you will be speeding along. I can only think you got the pattern at the Sisters quilt show in Oregon?

Wow! YOu must love a challenge. To me, this quilt looks like it's the equivalent of the free solo climb of El Capitan in Yosemite. It's something I'll watch with admiration, but I'll never try it myself!

no I will never do this quilt, but isn't it awesome?
It just occurred to me why we have so much trepidation for some patterns?
You have two diff patterns - one easyish and one complex.
Your cutting fabrics for both, piecing together for both and stitching for
both. What is it that makes us run to or run from?
For me it's my head, lol. I love that there are those of us that will do the
grand ones, the beautiful and spectacular quilts. I can't wait to see it
as you step by step make your heirloom quality masterpiece
It is a blessing, to be a blessing !

I like paper piecing, I'm a beginner quilter ( started in Feb of 2019) and paper piecing is like a puzzle. I like puzzles and paper piecing has a surprise at the end. I am always surprised when I cut the edges of the paper off and turn the block over. Wheww Oooooo. nice. Good Luck and happy piecing!
