Oops, never mind, I just took a closer look at the label and see a quilted by on it. Love the idea of the label in the middle BTW. Especially when it is as nicely done as this.

First of all those colors are awesome!! sooo my style:)

Second- Great thought to piece the back that way! It is just as striking as the front! At first i didn't realize the first pic was the back and I loved it that way..LOL

I'm sure the quilt will be loved for yrs to come:)

I send out. WISH I had my own long arm. I can do small lap quilt and wall hangings on my regualr machine. The larger stuff is just too hard to handle.

Thank you for all the wonderful comments.

Wow Joey (funny that is my younger sisters nickname), I saw the posting and read your story on the other link and then came here to see the back, and just sat here and said WOW!!!
I agree with one of the ladies on the other link, this is a masterpiece. No wonder she loved the back.

I had leftover blocks so I pieced the back and then my friend Dwynn suggested that I embroider the label in the middle, so I did. (great idea friend).

This is my favorite quilt that I have made so far. Hopefully with many more to come out of my sewing room.

The back is just as beautiful as the front!!! Way to go, and what a great idea - to piece the back like that.
