great quilt!! even with the slippery slider thing i have had trouble moving some quilts doing FMQ and not others. backing,batting? who knows.

It looks fine to me and glows like a stained glass window. Wonderful fabric selection.
Did you starch your strips? That helps me control both cutting and piecing.

Need to think of it as a training aid I have quite a few of them. Everyone else love them but the maker tends to be so critical of them selfs. I think its beautiful I love purple shades.

Thanks everyone! Ranger, it is an XR-52, very basic. I love it. No, I don't starch. Never have, maybe I should try it. I got the pattern from www.quiltville.com. I think it is under "V" method. Free. Similar to the braid I think, except for the square at the tips. It was challenging to trim everything right, but the actual sewing was fine. I just picked random strips and added them on. The wonky part is that it stretched and I couldn't get the bubbles out no matter how much I pulled, tugged, etc. But, oh well, I am loving it anyway.
