I just completed this complicated quilt top my GD picked out of a quilt magazine for her HS graduation gift. I have been working on this off and on for about 5 months. It has 77 pieces in each block!
It is called "New Mexico block". All in Batik fabric. Has anyone of you ever made a quilt using this block? Talk about hard!!! So much to match up, I was so afraid I couldn't do it. I have some boo boos in it (points don't match exactly in some places). Will be sending it off to machine quilt land....I won't be doing this again for a long time.....
Sorry it's a little fuzzy looking.

You are entirely too critical of yourself. It looks awesome and you did a great job despite the complexity of the block. You pushed yourself further and you should be proud of this accomplishment.

What a wonderful, loving gift for your GD. I'm sure she will love it.

We are always our own worst quilt police. As I ride by on my galloping horse, I do not see your oops!

    GREAT JOB!
