Beautifully done! A trick I use for circles is to cut a template out of card stock and then do a loose running stitch around my fabric circle. Put it on the template then pull that running stitch tight. Makes perfect circles. I then press it real good, take out the template, spray starch it then press again. Nice smooth circles every time.

Love your applique. I tried that method last week for the first time on a square flower pot that I just couldn't get to work - I know, how could a square not work (?) Even the wooden toothpick trick didn't work! Had to use spray starch and now I'm hooked on that method too. Your work looks perfect!

Congrats on your triumph. Still experiencing a huge learning curve (translate to not having much success) but I really want to master this technique so I will keep trying. Love the design, so graceful.
