    Sorry, to me the border seems a little heavy. You might want to give a little more space between the flowers. Just a suggestion.

    thanks for your comment.
    this was just a trial, for the moment I am stitching the stems and it takes a while, when done by hand. Once that is done I will be placing the flowers, leaves, buds and I will take you comment into consideration.
    also the flowers and leaves will be smaller once I do the needle turn appliqué,

    I really like our quilt. I especially like the checkerboard effect. I would suggest a colored border (or piping) on either side of that large appliqued border. How about a color in the binding? Maybe even a pink for balance. Certainly several colors would work depending on what you plan to do with the quilt.

    Fabulous!! Personally I prefer the first picture, but then I'm partial to blues. The checkerboard sets everything off wonderfully. Can't wait to see the finished version.
