I always thought I wanted to make a quilt with the day lilies I have in my yard. This is an inspiration to me to just do it. Thanks. Further I would say yours looks awesome!

It is lovely, if I may make a suggestion from my experience of years of applique, I always cut the background larger than my finished product, applique lends itself to improvisation, it's easier to add more leaves etc if you have the space, I'm looking forward to see the finished quilt.
