    I do like No 1... just the right amount of colour... do all of the blocks like that and you will be so pleased... too much yellow in the others... always be very careful with yellow... I would put a fine red (or is it orange) border on next and leave the yellow out altogether... there will be enough in those blocks...will make a very pretty quilt and your mother is right !!!

    first one for me also, like the choice of blue- since that is my favorite color - it will liik beautiful. nice work

    I heard a quilting speaker once say that every quilt should have some yellow or red in it for general appeal.

    WOW!!!! I was shocked when I saw how many of you responded! Thanks so much for the input. I had to laugh at the overwhelming choice of number one! I like it (a lot) ... and that's Mom's choice, too. So ... #1 it is. 41 more to go. I really enjoyed reading your responses.

    Number 1 for sure...you said you wanted yellow accent and it gives you just that. The others make it a blue and yellow quilt...number 1 gives you the accent

    I love choice #1! It works well. I really think that having the blue and yellow print will show Mom that they do look nice together. Beautiful work!
