Very very nice. Represents so many hours of personal labor with your work and the original seamstress, too.

My Mom did the cross stitch on quilt blocks and when I attempted to put them together, no block was the same size. I think it was the fabric that the cross stitch was printed on. I said many "choice" words, but finally got it together and had it quilted for a Mother's Day gift for her. She loved it. Nice job, I understand how difficult this was.

It really made me wonder what happened to the person who did all the stitching on the blocks. Since it was in a yard sale - two people back - I'll never know if the seller was the person who did it, or it was from someone's relative that had passed. I sort of hope it was the latter - I can't imagine why anyone would get rid of all those blocks after they were done! She would have been so close to a finished quilt!

The lady that I got the blocks from didn't really want to work on it - wasn't her thing - so we have had many laughs over this project this last year! When I finished it, I was at our quilting group and she was very happy to see it done. I even said I would call it "Sharon's lost quilt project" - we all laughed at that!

That's beautiful pattern and also love the quilt. It's so good that you finished up all the squares for a lovely quilt!
