I showed you the top when it was completed.

Well, tonight I finished quilting it and got the binding done. So now I can take it to guild show and tell Thursday night and get it in the mail.
I tried to add a little "point of interest" in each square. A butterfly among flowers, a swing on a tree, a leaf on bamboo stalks. etc.
I asked my niece if there was any special symbol that she'd like on the quilt, or her initials, .... she asked if I could put a key on it. So I downloaded a pic of an old skeleton key, traced it out then enlarged it until it was the right size. I changed the filgree a bit to include her initials. Then used the "Press and Seal" technique to transfer it to the quilt. That worked great - I'll be using that technique again for sure!
Here's the photo gallery.

she's done!

Beautiful quilt. What is the 'press and seal' technique?
