    Yellow and Black TWISTER

This is a yellow and black twister quilt I made for a possible fundraiser for the local school (which only has about 17 kids) my daughter graduated 8th grade their last year and now has over an hour bus ride each way to high school. The 4th - 8th graders are going to Washington D.C. this spring, my daughter went in the sixth grade and we did alot of fund raising. So I thought I would donate a quilt for silent auction to help the local kids. And the the little table runner is made from some of the scraps. Thanks for looking.

I love your fabrics. What line are they from? So pretty, I may have to consider doing a black and yellow quilt now.

I was in a time crunch and the closest town which is the biggest doesn't have a quilt shop, so I purchased two fat quarter bundles and yardage at Jo Ann's Fabric to go with it. They do not have a name on salvage, I believe they were classic cottons, it felt nice so I went with it. It was 8.99 a yard and I used 50% off coupon for backing.

This is the easiest quilt to make. I do have the book that goes with tool. However I do not use book, I just figure out layout and go with it. Thanks for kind comments.

Great job on the twister and love the colors. I think the quilting even makes is pop more. Really shows up on the yellows. Should bring a lots of money at auction.
